The Effect of the Corporate Entrepreneurshıp on the Company Performance: A Study In the Servıce Sector

Abstract


The purpose of this paper is to find out the effect of the corporate entrepreneurship on the company performance in the service sector. The convenience sampling was used in this study which was conducted to 280 white collar employees who worked in a service sector. The questionnaire was sent to 300 employees. 280 questionnaires were collected back and analyzed. The frequency distribution analyses, factor analyses, reliability analyses, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted to the collected data. The entrepreneurial orientation scale was used from Eren (2006) whereas the company performance scale was used from Zehir (2016). The findings of this research supported the theory. It is found out that the corporate entrepreneurship has a positive effect on the company performance. It is expected that this research will make contributions to studies which will be conducted in the future about the effect of the corporate entrepreneurship on the company performance.
